Press Review Tool

Yolo Superior Court provides public case information in a timely manner.  Most court records are open and available to the media.  Some court records are sealed or confidential.  Access to sealed or confidential records requires an order from the court.  If you believe you have been denied access to documents that should be open to the public, please contact the Executive Office.

• Summary case information is provided by the Court’s public case access system and is available on the court’s website at https://portal-cayolo.tylertech.cloud/Portal/. Additionally, you can contact the Clerk’s office at 530-406-6704.
• Press Review Tool allows the media access to e-filed materials for unlimited civil cases. E-filed materials have not been reviewed and accepted by the court as an official filing.
  • For access to the Press Review Tool submit the form, Request for Press Review Tool Access to the Executive Office. The request will be verified and an email response from the Executive Office will advise the requester if it has been rejected and why or approved. If approved, the email will include the username and password.
