PHONE SCAM ALERT

: in more than a dozen states, including California, reports have been filed regarding calls from people claiming to be court officials or law enforcement officers. Do not provide any information having to do with your bank or credit card to anyone claiming to be an officer of the court or of the law. If you receive communication from someone requesting your personal information, immediately contact the fraud unit of your local police department. Be advised that although court personnel may contact you by telephone, they will never ask for your personal or credit card information.

Manage Your Jury Duty

Follow these steps to prepare for your service.

Complete Questionnaire

All jurors must complete the mandatory questionnaire within 5 days of receiving their summons.

Check Reporting Status

Check after 5:00 PM the evening before your service date to see if your group is required to report.

Video Appearance

Appear by video on your first day of service at 8:30 AM. In-person attendance is required for any days after.

Day of Service: What to Expect

Security Screening Airport-style screening. No weapons or sharp objects permitted.
Orientation Brief film and instructions from the Jury Commissioner's staff.
Jury Selection Groups are called for voir dire questioning by judges and attorneys.
