Settings & Technology Preparation

Preparing for a Successful Video Arraignment

To ensure a smooth and efficient video arraignment experience, the following steps are highly recommended by the Yolo County Superior Court.

Location

Choose a quiet, private indoor location with minimal background noise and distractions. This ensures clear and uninterrupted communication throughout the hearing.

Audio & Video

Verify that the device you will be using has a functioning microphone and camera. Position the camera at eye level for professional engagement.

Headphones

Using headphones is strongly recommended. This helps reduce background noise and significantly improves audio clarity for all participants.

Power Source

Ensure your device is fully charged or plugged into a power source during the hearing to prevent any unexpected disconnections.

System Test Test your audio and video system prior to connecting to the video arraignment platform. This will allow you to identify and address any potential technical issues beforehand, ensuring a smooth and successful hearing experience. For detailed guidance, visit: support.lifesize.com
