Day of Hearing for Video Appearances

Instructions for Participants
Preparation
Professional Attire: Dress appropriately as you would for an in-person court appearance. This demonstrates respect for the court and the proceedings.
Prior Preparation: Gather any necessary documents and familiarize yourself with the proceedings.
Technology
Meeting Information: Locate your meeting information for the department where your hearing is scheduled.
Audio & Video Test: Ensure your video and audio are working properly before the hearing.
Joining the Hearing
Early Arrival: Join the online meeting at least five minutes before your scheduled time. You may be placed in a waiting room before being admitted.
Identification: Upon entering the meeting, type your full name. If you are an attorney, include your client's name. If representing an agency, include the agency name.
Domestic Violence / Gun Violence Restraining Orders If your hearing concerns a domestic violence or gun violence restraining order and you encounter connection difficulties, call 530-406-6794, option 0 immediately.
