Invites Attorneys to Apply to Serve
As Temporary Judges
The Yolo Superior Court is adding attorneys to its panel of trained, qualified and experienced attorneys who may serve in the area of small claims, traffic, and unlawful detainers as temporary judges.
Temporary judges are used at the discretion of the Presiding Judge when the court needs judicial assistance that it cannot provide using its full-time judicial officers.
For a complete list of conditions and training requirements see California Rules of Court, Rule 2.812.
Only applicants who meet the conditions and training requirements and have completed an application will be placed on the panel.
All persons interested in becoming a Temporary Judge must complete all required online training before attending the training on Bench Conduct and Demeanor training.
In-person Bench Conduct and Demeanor training will be offered by the Court on December 21, 2017, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
