Evidence Cart Request

- An evidence cart is not needed unless you require the use of an document camera aka ELMO (a device which allows the display of physical evidence, including photographs, 3-D objects, and documents, onto a projection screen)
- You do not need to submit a reservation request for general courtroom technology.
- An evidence cart is not needed if your case is heard in Department 9, 10, 11, 14. These courtrooms are equipped with document camera units.

Any Department not listed already has Elmo in the courtroom

The request must be made 48 hours in advance of the date, but no more than one week prior to the hearing date. There is no guarantee that an evidence cart will be available. The court has discretion to refuse a request if the requestor has a history of making a request and not notifying IS using the email address provided when the hearing has been cancelled or continued.

There is no guarantee that an evidence cart will be available. The Court makes no representations or warranties that the media (e.g. DVD) will be recognized by the Court’s media player. The Court will not provide any adapter to allow connectivity with the user’s laptop, other than standard VGA.

It is your responsibility to notify the court any changes in the proceeding that might effect your need for a Portable Evidence Presentation Cart (data/time changes, courtroom assignment, cancellation).
