Elder or Dependent Adult Abuse Restraining Order

ELDER OR DEPENDENT ADULT ABUSE RESTRAINING ORDER

 

 

An Elder or Dependent Adult Abuse Restraining Order is used to protect from abuse

  1. An elder person who is defined as someone 65 years of age or older or
  2. A dependent adult who is defined as a person who is between the age of 18 to 64 years and who has a mental or physical limitation that restricts his/her ability to carry out normal activities.
